The venue is gorgeous with its lush grounds and beautiful natural wooden sculptures. The castle is absolutely charming with modern amenities.
The staff were just darling! Clémence was so quick to reply to any questions leading up to the celebration and Jessica was just so very kind, helpful and reassuring.
The other members of staff Bhaija, Rachid & Denis were always ready to help if we ever needed anything.

Barrenques is adventurous place right in the middle of lavender fields. The aromas are heavenly and staying there is like being in a wonderland. The rooms are beautifully designed, the beds are wonderful, breakfast was just perfect. Love the garden and swimming pool! Will be back!!!!!
We had a fantastic wedding at Château des Barrenques in July this year! The team were very responsive, the venue is spectacular with all the shade you need from old noble trees to beat the heat, the rooms are beautiful and spaces for each section are fit for purpose. We have just had an amazing family holiday here. It was a belated 80th birthday celebration for my father. Everything was wonderful. The chateau and and its setting is beautiful. Accommodation was comfortable and there was plenty of space so everyone could have a great holiday. We rented bikes which were a great addition and allowed us see and smell the fields of sunflowers and lavender. The chateau’s pools kept us all cool in the very warm temperatures. We were welcomed warmly by Bahija who introduced me to delicious Moroccan tea! Here’s a photo of my first attempt. Thank you!
A beautiful castle with an equally beautiful park. Fish in the small river running through, a pool for both kids and adult and the park is perfect for a romantic stroll or a walk of discovery with the kids.

We visited the venue in December and it is truly fantastic. Why only 1 star? Due to a very, very disappointing experience with the management of the castle.
We wanted to celebrate our wedding at Chateau Barrenques, had discussed everything with Eric and agreed on a date (august 22). Then the nightmare began - he either didn’t show up to calls or was hours / days late, the documents provided had mistakes and were contradicting each other and at some point he just completely ghosted us. So happy we didn’t transfer the down payment yet. Brides & Grooms, be aware !!
